Oh, hello there!

Hey! My name is Jacki. I’m the other co-writer of this blog. I’m (soon-to-be) 27 years young in May. I work full time at an eye doctor. And the most exciting part of my life – I’m a mom!

I had my son December 2016 and life’s never been the same. Constant go, chaos, adventures, new things, and fun. I was always the one who swore I’d never have kids. Never wanted kids. Ever. I was like that my whole life. Then one April morning, my life changed. I found out I was pregnant and fast forward (almost) a year and here we are and I couldn’t imagine my life without him. He brings so much joy, happiness, and purpose to our lives. So much personality he keeps us on our toes. He’s the reason it’s taking me 30 minutes just to type this much so far. 😉

I am dating a wonderful man, Aaron. We’ve been together off and on for the better part of two years. We’ve had some major ups and downs but having Brayden has definitely brought us together and made us both grow up and made our relationship stronger and better than it ever was before.

I recently opted out of school to become an aesthetician. As excited and happy as I was to start the program, the more I thought about it, I don’t think it’s quite right for me. I LOVE makeup. And I LOVE trying new products or products that have a lot of hype around them.

Aidan and I have similar taste but also extremely different taste. She tends to go for simple browns, nudes, etc. And as much as I like those, I tend to go for the bolder, brighter looks. I don’t get a whole lot of time for playing so I’m actually still working on getting a lot of things down. So, I’ll definitely keep you on that journey with me. And keep you  posted on any tricks or hints I find along the way!
